I was commissioned to capture glamour and still life images of more than 500 bottles of whiskey from Bourbon Lore, the largest private collection of rare American bourbon and rye whiskeys in the Western Hemisphere. Because of the unique nature and value of each bottle, many of which are valued in the thousands, I produced the entire shoot onsite at Bourbon Lore headquarters, building my studio and constructing custom sets which aligned with the vibe of the Bourbon Lore brand. This project was a fun and interesting creative challenge, and also a fascinating study of graphic design, typography, distilling artistry and American history.
